Xymech designed several PVC Bag Machines. In 1997 Megkon
subcontracted the company for the design of an automated bag-forming machine producing
intravenous fluid bags. This machine utilizes high frequency electromagnetic waves to weld
plasticized PVC-material. Four systems have been built up to date and is in operation in
various different countries as part of Megkon Autoster plants. Intravenous fluid bags in
100ml, 500ml and 1000ml bags are currently produced in these plants. Designs for 50ml,
100ml, 250ml, 500ml and 1000ml bags with the corresponding tooling has been completed,
manufactured and tested. The machine can be adapted up to 3000ml bags. Bag Machines
designed and build by Xymech have been installed in these countries world wide.
